Yes. A dear, intelligent liberal friend told me, "I know he's a bad president, but I have to vote for him. It's just a feeling in here." While saying that, she touched her heart, shook her head back and forth (like, "No") and looked at the floor, not at me. We had just been discussing Obama's many and grievous shortcomings.

Your point is correct. I have been looking for rational solutions to the problem of a country dominated by weak thinking. But I see now we have a country dominated by strong feeling, which somehow seems to banish strong thinking. Our work will not be easy.

Even if Obama is a "bad President", he's still preferable to Mitt Romney, who would have
been a horrible one .
